We premiere with the second exclusive yarn Feliz y Punto: LA PURA!

LA PURA is composed of 100% high quality raw silk (raw silk / bourette). With a rustic and matte appearance, it is a completely different proposal to Solaris. It is very easy and pleasant to knit and provides an extremely soft feel on the skin.

The good moisture absorption makes it comfortable to wear garments woven with it in hot weather and in situations of physical activity.

Silk is hypoallergenic.

It can also be used year-round, as low conductivity keeps warm air close to the skin during cold weather.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO MAKE THE SKEINS?

Due to space and logistical reasons it is not possible to have all colours in stock. Normally the dyeing takes between 5 to 10 working days. Please note that weather conditions (rain or winter) may slow down my work.

WHEN ARE THE YARNS SHIPPED?

Deliveries are made once a week: Tuesday mornings.

AVAILABILITY

Feliz y Punto is a small workshop, with one person who manages everything. The skeins are not mass produced. Each skein is dyed, washed, skeined, labelled, photographed, packaged and shipped by one person. What I can produce has a limit in the form of time, energy, space and the amount of administration that accompanies each skein.

In the event that:

NOT ENOUGH STOCK – don’t worry, email me at hola@felizypunto.com and we’ll sort it out.

SOLD OUT: subscribe to the list below the colour. So there are the skeins, you’ll get a notification.

ARE THERE COLOUR DIFFERENCES?

Each skein is dyed with care and love by hand, this means that each skein is unique.

I do my best to make the colours reproducible, however, the nature of hand dyeing will always result in different skeins. No two skeins are ever the same. The process is controllable to a certain extent which, in this sense, makes it so beautiful and unexpected.

I recommend that you secure enough yarn for each project. If there are not enough skeins, I prefer that you write to me at hola@felizypunto.com.

To even out the weave on larger projects, it is recommended that the skeins are alternated every few rows for a more uniform effect.

WILL THE COLOUR BLEED?

Although dyes are carefully set and wools are well rinsed, colour bleeding may occur during the first few washes, especially with very dark and saturated colours.

IMAGE ACCURACY

The utmost care is taken when photographing Feliz y Punto skeins to capture the colour as accurately as possible. Please note that, despite this, colour rendering may vary depending on your computer monitor / display device and/or settings.
